Getting to Grips with Grammar and Punctuation

Boost your credibility with higher writing standards

½ day

Grammar and punctuation are the secret gremlins in many people’s business communications.

They know they’re not getting it quite right; but they’re not sure exactly what they should be doing.

Through fun exercises and clear explanations, participants on this course will tackle the gaps in their knowledge of commonly-confused words, punctuation marks and grammatical structures.

At the end of the session, they’ll learn simple editing and proofreading techniques which will help them to reduce and spot mistakes in their writing.

Participants will be able to:

  • improve communications with clients and senior managers who will no longer be put-off by grammar and punctuation errors
  • produce emails, reports and other work more quickly using their enhanced writing and proofreading skills
  • reduce the time their manager spends correcting their work
